-- Updated Feb. 19, 2018 -- Which publications still run infographics? A subscriber recently asked us this good question. The answer is, more than you might think. We found 14 publications that ran infogs recently as edit-driven contributed content, across both B2B and B2C. We have removed the 2017 list as all but one of those publications no longer run infogs.
Online marketplaces such as Airbnb, Elance and Match.com have grown big and strong hooking up buyers and sellers. This week, Visual.ly launched its own marketplace, showcasing more than 5,000 designers ready to produce infographics and data visualizations under contract.
Over the last year, the explosion of these abominations called "infographics" has gotten overwhelming. The number of design-deficient morons making these is so ridiculous that you can fill an island with them. I'd do that. And then nuke it. -- Jesus Diaz, Gizmodo, Oct. 3, 2011.
